McKittrick Real Estate Group was started in 2001 by Todd and Lane McKittrick. Todd and Lane started the company by carefully selecting projects that would allow for the quality of home they wanted to build to be represented. Selecting specific residential lots and contracting for large scale customs allowed McKittrick Real Estate Group to be known by the local real estate community as a quality builder. Since 2001, the company has grown to include a much broader real estate product range to include land development and mixed use. In 2005, most of our projects are land under development and mixed use. However, we continue to take on one or two custom home clients at a time and always look for opportunities to built homes on a speculative basis. Todd has over 20 year’s experience in construction consisting of high density single family, multi family, custom homes, mixed use, and land development. Todd moved to Seattle in 1997 after working as a project manager for Shea Homes in Northern California. From 1997 to 2001, Todd worked building homes for Intracorp and a local Puget Sound home builder. Todd earned a Construction Management degree from California State University Fresno.

Todd manages the day to day construction at McKittrick Real Estate Group. He is the primary interface with the clients, local jurisdictions and subcontractors. He is a State Board of Director for Builders Industry of America Washington as well as a member of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties.

Lane has lived in Puget Sound her entire life. After graduating from the University of Washington with a BA in Economics, she began her career in construction at Investco Financial Corporation/Investco Properties Development Corporation. At Investco, Lane managed all facets of multi family and mixed use construction and also some property and asset management. After leaving Investco, she became the Assistant Director of Real Estate for the University of Washington where she did asset management for their portfolio of real estate. In 2005, Lane started McKittrick Real Estate Services which allows her to focus her time on McKittrick Real Estate Group’s finances, future planning and asset management as well as allowing time to use her expertise to help our clients in their asset management needs.

Lane manages all aspects of accounting for McKittrick Real Estate Group including financial statement preparation, budgeting, draw requests, project proformas/financial analysis and obtaining construction financing. She also is responsible for asset management and leasing of our properties.

Todd and Lane met while at work in 1997. Since that time, they found they make a successful team in land development and construction with each of their separate strengths. When not working, they enjoy as much family time as they can fit, including spending time at their vacation home in Hood Canal with their four sons, Conner, Cole, Hunter & Dalton. Todd and Lane also volunteer their time as founding directors of the Hear See Hope Foundation (www.hearseehope.com), which they organized after their son Conner was diagnosed with Usher syndrome in 2004. As Dalton was born in April of 2008 with Usher syndrome as well, they remain very active in the Foundation to find a cure for this syndrome that results in blindness as well as deafness.
